From Northern Vancouver Island

Hi, we've had chickens for almost a year now and discovered that like potato chips you just want more. We have chickens and turkeys - 3 silkies, 2 japanese bantams, 2 red rocks, 1 geriatric Buff Orpington hen, 9 crossed (Orpington/silkie/Australorp/etc) chickens, and Sweetgrass Turkeys - 2 mature toms, 4 hens, 2 young poults, with more hatching today in the incubator. The silkies and bantams are my daughters' pets. I decided it was time - after spending time looking around the forum that it was time to join. Our home is also shared with a 105 pound Great Pyrenees and a hamster.
