oh yes, 2 city kids now have 3 chickens in the city limits (shhh)

umm, red, orange and black...gonna hve to say i have no idea. i do know that they are laying hens, rather than eating hens.

gardening, knitting, soap making, school (nursing)
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
my 2 year old daughter loves the chickens, we had quite a time building them a little fence after leaving them ot run free in the yard for 2 weeks. turns out they love to dig up my winter garlic and the strawberry runners. so we built them a run to keep them out of my garden. i just dont have the time between work and school to keep up on them and what to do in my beds.
