My Coop
I’ve been out of the chicken game for a few years now when I sold my land and home a few years ago and temporarily moved to the city while on the hunt for some bigger better property.

We closed on our new place about 6 months ago (10 acres) and it was beautiful but the previous owner had not touched it on 10 years. Trees were all over grown and everything was in disarray. The previous owner also had a thing for Ferrell cats, there were small structures everywhere on the property which I did away with. Except for one, which happened to be on the best part of the property but buried in a jungle of trees, vines and thorns. As soon as I saw it I knew exactly what I wanted to to with it. And so the work began. Several weeks later and a lot of butt time in the skid steer seat and finally was able to create the chicken haven I wanted.

sorry for rambling, but please let me know what you think. Only thing I think I’m going to change is the nesting boxes. Instead of the 2 separate ones I believe I’m going to go with one big box with 3 divided nesting boxes.

Ordered my chickens to come March 15th and that is when our new house should be complete. Happy to be back in the chicken group smile
