LOL, No chicks came home. I am only allow 2 more and I will hold out for a Buff Orp or Austrolorp.
She got to hold one they don't usually let people hold them.
Got the PDZ, feed and shavings.

**** TS pine shavings suck ! they are not very soft at all and has chunks of bark and stuff and for $6.... I got 2 bags but might just return one since I opened one already. Will go back to the local store that has nice fluffy shavings

not a bad time of year to put a pile of wood chips out to "weather" for spring. I hate pine shavings, they do suck, they are expensive and don't compost all that well. partially composted wood chips, hopefully of the none pine/connifer type, like perhaps maple, work great and can be added to the compost successfully after they have done their job.
