I decided to stop lurking and start being sociable. I'm back to raising chickens after a 40 year vacation. I currently have 8 hens and 1 rooster hanging in/out of their chicken sedan. I've used some suggestions from the forums to make a few improvements and less work taking care of em. I'm looking forward to learning new tips & tricks and chatting with some of y'all. Gotta love them boneless chicken nuggets.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join our flock. A lot of us were lurkers before joining. :o) You have a nice looking coop and a beautiful flock. Thanks for posting the pics. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your chickens.

Thanks to y'all for the welcome and kind words about the crappy chicken sedan. I cobbled it together in a weekend and have just gotten around to the self feeder and watering system. The fencing took another weekend. The solar panel for lighting, the feeder and watering system took a couple more days.. so about a week total. The cluckers don't seem to care about any flaws. :-)

You have definitely come to the right place! BYC is filled with members who love to talk and brag about their chickens. We love sharing pictures, stories and advice. It is a great place to be social with people who love chickens!

Very nice flock and coop! Nipple waterers are very successful and good to use.

Glad you joined us! See you around BYC!

Glad you decided to get back into chickens!

You are so modest, the coop, feeder, watering system are awesome.

Sure hope you would share all those under the coops/runs forums.

Enjoy the forums. Glad to have you here!
