frost bite on roos wattles

The ends are dark and the wattles are puffy and warm. I put more vaseline type stuff on them so they hopefully won't get worse but they dangle in what ever he eats or drinks so it will rub off again. I don't know what else to do.

Besides a rooster with a frozen comb will likely be infertile until it heals.
