This is our one eyed girl, I took her out today to let her forage and run around and noticed her comb a little purple? It’s in the 60s here in Cali but I’m nervous it’s frost bite? If it is what do I do to help her?

I agree with Sourland.

It looks like you have some type of production red egger. How old is she? This amount of darker redness I do not find concerning, it can come and go normally as seasons change, hormones change, the weather changes, etc. She looks to be in perfectly good health, from what you've shared. Welcome to BYC, and enjoy your sweet chicken!

If the comb gets darker on the ends, like purple or dark purple looking, then consider that she may be having some issues. It can be a sign of less oxygen in the blood, often due to heart issues, which can show up as birds enter their twilight years. Even once you identify there's an issue, there's nothing you can do but love her, really. Identify and mitigate sources of stress in her life as best you can, but recognize that a production egger who has made it to 4 or 5 years old is quite old and has had an excellent long life.

Thanks so much for the info! She’s about 8/9 months, she’s acting completely normal I just have never had chickens before and wasn’t sure what could be going on! In person it does seem a little more purplish compared to darker red. Thanks again :)
