Frost Bite

so my japanese rooster has frost bite. umm im really sad and i want to know if i should not use him for fair and if it will go away the tips of his comb are like purple

My Silver Spangled Hamburg Pullet was left out of the coop last night and it got down to 15 degrees. Her comb is quite black. I'm on my way out to put some salve on it. as far as using him for the fair, I don't know. Hopefully, someone with more experience can help you. I'm sorry for your roo. Sue

Its very likely the frost bitten parts will fall off. Vaseline help it heal faster.

ok thnx for the advice if the tips fall off i wont use them for fair and then what about the white areas will they go back?

Its possible they wont fall off.

ya its been getting like 7 below at night
