the toe skin shifts in color to almost green where the red lines are.
I live in the south, where it gets cold but only sporadically.

It’s definitely frost bite I lost 4 hens out of 8 and this little girl couldn’t stand very well and had eyes closed and almost gone when I found them the next morning. It is -30 and the wind chills are even colder they were in closed with a heat lamp food and water with a door going outside and I guess they just got way to cold. When I brought her in she couldn’t move her legs or close her feet once I got her warmed up and blood moving in her legs and feet she started coming back alive I think she had hypothermia. She still has the swollen feet it isn’t bubble foot I know that just wanting to know how to treat frost bite. I’ve been doing Epson salt foot bath with her but she definitely seems like she is getting better. She is inside the house nice and warm
