Frostbite!!! Help!!!

Im not sure what to do the whole tip of my white rock lucys comb is black!! can she die from it? wil that part of her comb fall of? will it get infected? will it turn red again? I dont Know what to do!!!

The first thing to do is to calm you down!
Lucy probably won't die from simple frostbite, but you do want to guard against infection. Neosporin/triple antibiotic ointment WITHOUT the 'caine pain killers can be applied to her comb, but even plain petroleum jelly will help prevent further damage. Yes, it will shrivel and fall off if the damage is bad enough. It's won't turn red again.

Couple things to think about- when roosting, how close is her head to the ceiling? I lowered my roosts a bit for the winter. Is there adequate ventilation in your coop? Needs to be well ventilated but not drafty. Moisture in the coop is hard to keep under control, but has to be done.

Do you ever get odors or moist litter in the coop? There may be more moisture in there than you think; hard to say. Hay in the cracks is going to block moisture going out. Is there also an opening up high that the moisture can still leave through?

Yes there is an opening at the top when spring finally rools around the coop is getting cleand out completely.
