Hi there,

My chicken Miracle has a blackish-purple streak on her comb. From what I've seen, It's frostbite. I will confess, my ventilation isn't as good as it should be. But is there anything I should do for her comb? I put some bag balm on it, and I really don't want her to lose her comb, if that's possible. Any advice is appreciated :) Thanks.

ETA- I forgot to mention; it covers 80% of her comb.

Thank you :) I'll try to get a picture tomorrow. I freaked out when I saw it this morning and brought her in... My mom gave her some coconut oil.

Sorry it took so long to get pictures... I got a few, but the lighting was horrible so it's hard to see. In real life, it's a deep purple-ish color.

The frostbitten area outlined.
