Frostbite ****pics**** need ansers really worried please read

help im a total noob and i am almost possitive my leghorn pullet has frostbite. the tips of her waddle are purple. is this frostbite,will she bo ok, and what can i do to stop it

Where do you live? What has the weather been like?
Tell us about your coop. Looks like you really need to make their coop warmer somehow. You don't have to add heat but you should have all drafts sealed up and lots of bedding on the floor to insulate them more.

I looked at you BYC page and coop looks great. You might want to add a heater. try sweeterheater.com I have one and even though the temps the past 2 nights has been -11 degrees it keeps chill off the coop. It's not a heat lamp so it is safer.

Get a thermometer that shows the temperature and the humidity in the coop. Wal mart sells them cheap. Keep the humidity low. Make sure the waterers don't leak and the bedding is dry. If the bedding is worn out or damp clean it out and replace with wood shavings you get at the feed stores. Good luck. Hope this works for you.
