Frostbite?

I just noticed black spots on my ducks bill. Her sister does not have any. We got our first snow over the past couple days. It’s been in the mid 30’s but there is a wind chill. They have a house and outdoor areas out of the wind and are dry. The will not sleep in their house at night. They’ll go in there during the day but at night, they just prefer outside. She has about 6 spots on the top middle and one side. See pics. Thoughts would be appreciated

I could be totally wrong, but I believe those are just "freckles"! I'd love others input though! Most white ducks I've seen (especially at shows, where theres like 20 white call ducks in a row) about 50% of the ducks will have little freckles : D

Well the thing is, she didn’t have them before this snow and cold started a couple days ago. They came on pretty fast it seems. I sure hope it’s just coincidence but I want to make sure my girl is ok

I believe the freckles/spots you're seeing are associated with hormones/matureness - it is fairly common in female Pekins and other breeds.

Frostbite would not be developing on such an area, if it were to develop it'd be towards the end where blood flood is limited.
