Hello! I could use a little help deciding in treatment for my hen. She was in the middle of molting when the temps dropped. Here is a picture of her.

Hello! I could use a little help deciding in treatment for my hen. She was in the middle of molting when the temps dropped. Here is a picture of her.
She looks fine. If there is any frostbite, it's very minor. There is nothing to do.
If she had minor frostbite, you would just monitor it for infection. It never a good idea to touch frostbitten skin if it can be avoided.

Thank you so much! It's our first winter and we are in the process of monitoring and adjusting our ventilation. It was well below 10⁰F for about a week most of the week and it was concerning.
