He is inside in the heated garage with his hens now! He’s going back outside in a few days when it gets above freezing.Keep the coop dry to prevent it from getting worse.

ohhh okay thanks!That skin is now dead; so the scab is pealing off to reveal the fresh skin underneath, which, is going to be pink.
I've had a lot of frostbitten birds. That happens every time.
