This my 1st winter. The girls have been great layers so far this winter 6 chickens and consistently get 4-6 eggs a day! But I noticed Maybe the start of a little frostbite so I put some Vaseline on their combs and wattles so it would get bad. but today after I put some on their Combs I discovered more blackness? Not sure why? they don't feel all they cold. anyone know why this happened? Hoping tomorrow they look better. if not I will try to post a few pictures. thanks for helping! This forum has helped me learn tons of great information
I never thought I'd enjoy chicken so much I believe my friends think I've gone crazy :)

Pictures would help very much, and you can also search for pictures here on BYC at the top of the page, and also on Google.
