Frothing at the beak

Biomycin is oxytetracycline which can treat symptoms of MG. Could she be getting into something that is causing the mucus production? Is she doing any head shaking to clear her beak?

I took a video of how she was breathing and moving her beak but I don’t think I can post it here.
She does shake her head a bit and it looks like mucus and foam comes out of her beak after she was drinking and she tries to get it out. It’s so sad. I noticed weird breathing sounds too when I picked her up to put her back in the “hospital” w heat lamps.
I didn’t see her get into anything. She tested a lot today and I only saw her drink water.

You can upload videos to YouTube or Vimeo, and then post a link here. I would keep checking her crop to see if she has a crop problem. Is there any sneezing, foamy eyes, or rattly breathing?

Ok I uploaded the video of her.

No foamy eyes. Just gurgle sounds when I picked her up earlier. Seems the foaming gets bad when she was drinking. That’s why I can’t really tell if it’s crop problem? But it’s empty and flat.
I was told maybe I should go tomorrow to my tractor supply, apparently they have “la-200” which someone said cured her hen with a respiratory illness.

Update today, she’s not eating, seems she is interested in eating, but does not want to, but she is drinking water still. Last night I think she was struggling to breathe. Antibiotics should be here tomorrow in the mail. 🙏🏼 ☹️

Poor thing. She looks pretty uncomfortable in the video. Her crop looks quite enlarged. Can you check another hen’s crop and then check hers again? That could be why she has so much foam in her beak. At her age I have seen a few hens who were not laying eggs and may have had internal laying or other reproductive problems, suffer from an impacted or sour crop. Is her chest puffy and soft?Crop porblems that are secondary to reproductive disorders can be difficult to treat. Some may be bacterial and some fungal in origin. A sour crop usually occurs after an impacted crop goes untreated. Here are a couple of articles about crop disorders:

Update: no changes so I am taking her to the vet in an hour to see what they think.
She is so skinny. I’m afraid I’ll have to make a sad choice as she is on the older side.
