Frozen but not cracked: How can I tell?

Our little fridge for eggs is on the fritz and we think it is freezing some of the eggs that are on top. Is there any way for me to tell, short of cracking it open, if an egg has been frozen? I don't want to sell eggs that have been frozen. I wonder if they would fail the "fresh test" by putting them in water? Thanks.

in winter my eggs sometimes get frozen, when they freeze they get a crack running along the side of the shell

Your best bet is to crack some open. They will usually be cloudy if they have froze.
