Frugal Bird Ladder Craft

Wasn't sure where to post this but it seemed like a helpful thing to share!

In a pinch? Money tight? Small bird need a new ladder- or maybe you just want to give him/her one?

Simple craft made using households items. Wide straws and unused skewers (pointy ends cut off) and a couple brass fasteners.
The straws fit snugly over two skewers, and smaller cut skewers make the rungs. The bottom of the rails are capped with glued fasteners.

Will not hold up with medium or large birds but my budgies love it!

Thank you! It won't likely hold for larger birds but it works good for budgies!

Oh gosh, I absolutely fell in love with them. One in particular named Skeebie, a Latino Lovebird. I need to dig up a picture of her. My baby!
