I agree w her. And all towns should allow people who own their property to have chickens (w restrictions in neighborhoods). I think it’s a given that anyone who has any animal/pet should have knowledge and supplies (leashes and kibble for dogs, litter box and cat food for cats, etc). It’s not her fault that people don’t do research. Stores who sell chicks should be required to give out a handout with basic chick care, and tell customers the basics of what chicks need.
Mt Healthy and Ideal both have Orpingtons left this season if you are still wanting them. Ideal won’t charge your card until a few days before they ship (if you need the tax return to pay for them).
