Hi all! So I have 4 ducks - 3 pekin females and a Snowy Mallard Drake. The Drake was born very tiny and is still on the smaller side of mallards.
They are all reaching puberty, and the mallard has started trying to mount the Pekins while they're in the pool. He is so much smaller - he looks like a baby riding on mammas back! Will he be frustrated if he's not able to physically mate? The girls just toss him off and chase him away with a nip to his tail.

I kinda feel bad for the poor guy! Lol!
