Frustrated with Brinsea...

here's some info regarding the switches in the bottom


If you have the 1588, I can help you!!

If it's at 97, you'll want to raise it two degrees.
Look on the underside and in the square hole, you'll see 8 switches.
The #4 switch should be turned on.
Turn it off and turn on the #7 switch.

Let me know what it does.

I would say buyer beware at this point. Appears many people including myself are having issues getting responses to phone calls and emails. After my Octagon 20 Advance I was sold and purchased an OVAEASY 190 in March, nothing but trouble 2 months after the purchase. I will update if I see any better results from customer service, but the last month and a half has included phone calls and emails never returned until repeat attempts made. Promises that the owner /tech will call back and nothing.

Hmmm....wish I would have seen this before I ordered my Octagon 20 Advance. They sent me the Octagon 20 Eco but were pretty good about correcting their mistake and got the right incubator to me in a couple of days. I was pretty disappointed but the lady I talked to at their customer service was very nice and helpful. I'm incubating eggs now and so far everything looks good. I hope you get your issues resolved.
 
Thanks guys! They did offer to send me a shipping label...and I still have the original box, so when I get time, I'll be boxing it back up and sending it back. It sucks because I had to double stack my eggs in my hova-bator and hand-turn 78 eggs a day now.

Since I posted my issues last. It appears Brinsea has figured out the issue with the turning and sent me a new motor postage paid and postage paid to return the old one. Currently 2 days strong with no turning faults which we have not seen since the first couple months.

1 week strong, no faults and absolutely quiet. Better than new.

Good! Glad to hear it! Nope, Brinsea offered to send me a label for me to ship them the incubator and for them to ship it back to me but I have yet to receive anything in the mail. I've got my last batch of eggs for the year in my Hovabators now (sat them yesterday)....so hopefully, I'll get some more chicks! :)
