I am so disappointed. We ordered our chicks from MyPetChicken in June. They were scheduled to arrive this week between Tuesday and Thursday. I have called our post office every morning since Tuesday to see if they arrived. And today, they still hadn't........and the last drop-off has been made. I have been on hold with MyPetChicken for 20 minutes. You are supposed to be able to push 2 to leave a message. I pushed 2.........you can't leave a message. I am really frustrated. Has this happened to anyone else? The reviews on here for MPC have seemed overall to be positive. I am so worried about my little chicks.

I don't have any experience w/ MPC, but I hope all your chicks make it to you healthy and happy.

I hope your chicks make it ok. Try to e-mail MPC. Maybe you'll get a response. My chicks were supposed to arrive on a Wednesday. I called the P.O. and was told none came in and that most likely they would be in the next day as they usually get them in around 6am. At 3pm that day I got a call from the post office that my chicks had come in with some priority mail.

I had a really positive experience with mPC. I called them regarding a change in my order, and they were more than accomodating (even spoke to a real life human right away!).

Good luck to ya!

First time post so I'm hoping this works...

I also had an order with My Pet Chickens that was due to ship this week.

We got a message on Monday letting us know that there was a problem and that we needed to call. It turns out they had a problem with one of their incubators and lost a bunch of EEs, Wyandottes and Australorps. We where given the option of substitutions or a later ship date.

I understand the frustration. I had my brooder set up and everything ready and now I have to wait. *big sigh* But, after reading all of the ups and downs that people on this forum have with hatching, I'm a lot more understanding about these types of problems.

Overall, I'm still really happy with the service I've gotten from My Pet Chicken.

I wrote another post stating that I had been too hasty in getting frustrated with MPC. Once I reached someone they were SO helpful............and, yes, they had had a problem with their incubator which affected their shipments for this week. AND they had sent me an email regarding this which somehow ended up in my SPAM folder and I didn't see it. So they've been great. And hopefully we'll get our chicks next week! I can't wait! (Although that will give us more time to work on the coop prior to their arrival!)

Hi,
I placed an order for some chicks with My pet chicken and I live in Wisconsin, I am worried about them arriving safely now cuz it's quite a distance! Where are you if in midwest? Did you get your chicks yet?

i've ordered twice from MPC and both arrived safely and healthily!

definately give them a chance to correct a mistake! also make sure the chicks weren't shipped to another local PO...

I ordered 10 babies earlier this year and they arrived about a week earlier then I expected.

But all of my experiences have been great for everything I have ordered from them.
