I filled up my new incubator. thats 43 quail eggs. I Bought some chicken eggs, which I had to pull my old incubator.... so I put the quail eggs in the old one, put the chicken eggs in the new one, ended up having more eggs than Space in the new bator. So Put some in the old one. I was overflowing with quail eggs again. So i put the new ones in the old bator.... So I have a total of 76 quail eggs, going to hatch on two different hatch dates, and 50 chicken eggs..... HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE THE HATCHING BUG

I told my parents that Im gonna have a two week break. Gives me time to handle all these birds.... But I don't think that will stick... I already have eggs piling up already... and I went in to hand turn the chicken eggs in the old bator... I saw a little bit of room where the eggs will sit nicely....

haha when I was a kid I used to have like 6 brooders going at any one time. Coturnix, buttons, bobs. My mom didn't care much as long as I paid for them myself and kept them in "That Room" (it used to be called My Room, but when the quail came into the picture it changed to That Room.)

Just a tip... if you are hand turning eggs... try putting them in egg cartons with a stick under one long half to tip them to the side. When it's time to turn ... move the stick to the other side. It will make it hard to crowd in a few more eggs though.

Just a tip about hand turning. Put your eggs in cartons and prop one side up with a stick or something... that tips them to the side. When it's time to turn move the prop to the other side. Faster than handling all the eggs but it might make it harder to squeeze more in.

Great tip for egg turning!!! I have 58 eggs in my hovabator at the minute andit seems like hours to turn them! With out the danger of being dense, when you say carton, is that like a chicken egg carton? Also what do you do to hatch? Take them out of the carton or just stop "turning" them?

I had a late night and my brains on delay!!!! Haha
