Hey guys, so I noticed one of my two--year-olds moving a little slower the past week but she was still eating. However I felt her crop last night and then again this morning and it was still full this morning. So I just followed the protocol of isolating her I gave her some solid coconut oil and I gave her some fresh water no food. I’m gonna be massaging her crop every two hours and probably doing coconut oil every four. Do you have any idea what this could be or any tips on what I should do?Thank you for reading.

A vet posted this online so I thought I wouls share it here.

Go to your regular pharmacy & pick up Metamucil powder & papaya enzyme tablets. Mix a small amount of the Metamucil powder with a little warm water to the consistency of pulpy orange juice. Crush one of the papaya enzyme tablets mix with one teaspoon of the wet Metamucil mix. Using a syringe or eye dropper give each hen 3 ccs (mls) total. You will probably need to start with 1 cc at a time until you can get the 3 ccs into each bird. Make sure they swallow between each 1 cc sip. You will repeat this twice a day with a fresh mixture each time. Keep them confined with just water, no food & monitor their crops & fecal output. If this works, the crop should start going down in a day or so. Be aware that the droppings may get more watery from stress & no food going thorugh. Once they start eating again, the droppings should return to normal.I am not a fan of the olive oil as if this were to get into the air sacs, it could kill them.Please continue with any additional questions or concerns you may have.

Get some fennel seeds and crush them
Boil them until the water become strong aromatic tea and strain the water and give this to your chicken who is having crop issue . Fennel seed tea is proven to move crop because it's antifungal
You can also use Sweet Fennel Seed Essential Oil In Water
Lukewarm water 2 drops of oil X 5 to 7 days

give your hen some sweet fennel seed tea
crush the fennel seeds add them in a cup of boiling water let it boil until 1 cup reduce till half cup it becomes strong aromatic herbal tea
strain the seeds now give this lukewarm water to the chicken with crop or slow crop after giving this water massage the crop in circles

this is a natural cure other cure —

1) get a probiotic + prebiotic + yeast extract + enzymes give 2 pinch in water crop issue will clear they poop so big after this


2) medical cure
get Lactulose suspension
give this suspension 0.25 ml per kg for 3 days
crop issue will resolve

3) Nystatin med
4) flucoconazole ( use with caution i face a overdose )

crop issues arise when there’s lack of good bacteria balance in crop both remedies are tried by me on my roosters worked
