Full Integration started this morning

I'm going to let them decide when they are ready to go to the big coop.
Sounds like you have it all well in hand- that’s great! I have five, 8-week old chicks in a small coop and my two one-year-olds in a new big coop, sharing a 10x15 run with separate areas. They are in the “look don’t touch” phase for the second week now.

All of the integration tips have been a great help.

Progress is being made. Chicks went in the big coop. First time they were on the 1 foot roost, stretching their necks to look out the window. Saw them twice in there at later times on the 2 ft roost. So they are testing it out.
Didn't get to watch too much today. But there was no squawks from the chicks. Frig in the motorhome died 10 days ago. Ordered a new one, it arrived yesterday. So today we were removing the old one (had to remove end and loosen back of the dinette seat by the frig, what a pain that was). Finally got old one out, what a nightmare. A neighbor helped hubby bring in the new one and slid into the space.

The tips on integrating are great! I hope yours goes smoothly too! Our older hens are 3, chicks will be 13 weeks tomorrow.

Was quiet all day. Chicks mingled some with the older hens. Tonight they did go in the big coop with the others and got on the lower roost. They stayed there for a little while, then went back to the small coop. Didn't see any pecks, but could have happened. At least they went in with the others even though they didn't stay.

Integration looks like it is over! All are roosting in big coop(2 nights in a row) and mingling together. Chicks on lower roost, but that's okay, main thing is they are all in one coop. They did it on their own.
Golden Comet Chicks combs & wattles are turning redder. They will be 14 weeks on Sunday. Now the milestone of waiting for their 1st eggs.

Pictures of all in the coop. Should have posted these sooner. Their choice of which coop to go to. Very proud of all the girls.
