So cute! I think it is just the way it dried. Give him time to clean himself up a little and it should be nice and fluffy soon

clean him self up is the last thing they gonna do

i just spend half hour with a hair dryer

my son went and poured water all over them

and the water was a bit dirty

they where all wet and brown

my wife is brilliant with them she helped me dry them with the night gown and is now hand feeding them

How cute! Mine normally cleaned themselves up no later than day 3. I always worried about getting them wet because I did not want them to catch a chill, but it sounds like you guys have that handled :)

my wife is brilliant with any animals but especially birds

she came to UK from Pakistan when she was 22 [6 years ago] and in pakistan the native ornimental bird is the ringed parakeet

and she has reared more of them then i have had hot dinners when she was still living there

and not only that she has reared them without a hospital brooder liek the Brinsea TLC-40

she did it all by keeping them wrapped up in the cloths and feeding them keeping them by her side at all times

I love the ring neck and will be getting one soon just waiting on a breeder to get some hatchlings ready
