Quick question. I am researching chicken breeds to see which ones would be best for the location I live in. I would like to know if bantam breeds are as good as regular chickens in the cold? or are they less hardy because of their size? I realize that different breeds have different hardiness, however overall does size of chicken matter?

I think in general it really just depends on the exact breed. In my opinion most bantams with the exception of some of the more ornamental ones can be just as cold hardy as standards
