Full squishy crop in the morning and watery/bloody stools

Things are looking better so far this morning! They’re all out pecking/wandering the yard. The one I was worried about last night was even chasing another chicken that found a garden snake. Crossing my fingers! Thank you all again for helping me with the medications!

The girl that had the squishy crop, is still a little squishy but much improved.

My 4th girl still has a little round crop, but it feels harder/grainy. Should I try to message it, or leave her alone if she’s eating and drinking fine?

Ok, she’s feeling a whole lot better but now I noticed she was picking at her foot and this is on the bottom. Is this the beginning of bumblefoot? How do I handle this?

We soaked it in an epsom salt bath, sprayed vetericyn and colloidal silver on it, and wrap it with gauze and flexible bandage. She has another small one on the other foot that we did the same with.

I'm glad she's doing better!

I wouldn't massage the crop, but I'd finish all the treatments you have started. Monitor the crop/check it every morning to see if it's continuing to improve/empty.

Eating/drinking is very good!

The area on the foot looks like minor bumblefoot. I'd look to make sure there's nothing stuck in the crevices of the webbing of the feet that may be bothering her and that's what she's picking at.

Treating as you are sounds fine. I rarely have to treat bumblefoot and am more inclined to monitor areas unless the bird shows marked signs of limping or discomfort.

Thank you! I’ll keep an eye on it. Seems a little better today. We’ll probably wrap it overnight with the same things and see how it is tomorrow.
