Full time house Chicken

I agree she sounds like a hoarder.

I concur. The OP seems to be more interested in her own instant gratification than the welfare of the "pets" or other humans. Very immature attitude.

Whatever happened to the concepts of honesty, respect for all forms of life, responsibility towards others? Just plain decent treatment of the world around you?

To the OP: PLEASE reconsider all the animals! Wait until you have a proper environment and your OWN property, and enough income to support and provide correct medical care for all. I wish your animals luck, they will need it.

Did anyone happen to look back at her other posts? she hatched chicks in her bra and had a chicken sleeping in her bed for 3 years!!! OBVIOUSLY NOT NORMAL.

Barnyard animals are supposed to be outside enjoying nature and not locked in a bedroom indoors. This post is so disturbing in so many ways.... I just can't believe this immature, selfish mentality. Truly makes me sick!

Is the OP this the infamous bra hatching lady that the entire forum has read about ??????????????????????. Ok so now this all seems very clear to all of us. OP I noticed you have not responded since most of the responses have been negitive to your aspirations of having a mini farm complex in your soon to be apt. We would like to hear your response to our answers. Are you just using this forum as a sounding board ?? some of us truely would like you to understand the extent of this, please respond.

Do a search on pigeon lung, bird lung or bird induced pneumonitis and prepare yourself for the symptoms. Chickens in the house are far messier than a chick in the bra.

Here is what I read from her new reintroduction post from 2 days ago!

Hey guys,
It's been a few years since I'v been on BYC (back when we had the old message forum) so I thought I'd say Hello again. I'v missed a few of you guys & am happy to see some of you are still posting. wink

Since I'v been of here last ALOT of things in my life have changed most of all I no longer live at home or in Upstate New York anymore, I now live in South Florida & I don't have a Chickens at this time (I also haven't hatched any eggs in my bra in the last 2 1/2 years...lol) but I am going crazy!! I am truly a eggdicted person & with my up coming move to Salt Lake City, Utah things are going to go back to how they should be.

But now I have new questions going from a country breeder/exhibitioner to a under the radar poultry pet owner.

Anyway for the peeps the don't already know me or don't remember:
I'm Della, 21, Female, Florida. Also a Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian & Have had a Small poultry farm in Upstate NY with my Mother a few years back, Not to mention my Silkie x Polish mix rooster (Blackie) who slept in my bed for over 3 year. Or that I hatch 2 silkie chicks out from my good ole' bra-o-bater (I still can't believe I did that) but i digress...Glad to be back.

Yes. Many think I am harsh and unreasonable. But I do read previous posts and topics before I comment on serious issues. I try to be polite and courteous.

I apologize if I have offended anyone, but animal deprivation/abuse/neglect etc are issues very close to my heart, as well as an even stronger reaction to child issues. The OP needs to really rethink these plans, as they are not at all just for the creatures involved.

I often read people's previous posts....especially when I'm trying to figure out if they're being serious or not. This person and her desire to cram all those animals into a house is not normal....I don't care how badly they want them. I don't for a minute believe that she has been truthful with her future landlord. I don't think there's a landlord alive who would allow such foolishness on their property.
