I actually COOK for my chickens. And feed them any leftovers they will eat. (I dont feed them chocolate or potatoes) The babies think rice is magots, spagetti is worms, beans are bugs. I break all pasta,taco shells cooked, and broken up. Big chickens, can eat ANY leftovers.Even meat.(They eat worms, and bugs for protein.) The funny one I did was cooked some rice, the other day, and dumped some oatmeal in it. I put it in a flat tray(An old metal ice cube tray) They decided to be pigs and hop in. You should have seen them walking funny, with the oatmeal and rice, on their feet.It was very funny. Try it sometime. I also feed my chicks yogurt. It keeps their bowels good. About once a week. strawberry is a good one.
