After some discussions we decided to start our flock and our son started his at the same time. Family had hobby farm as a kid and raise both meat and eggs chickens.
We got our first chicks hatched May 4th & 6th and shared them between the two small flocks.
Our has 1 Wild Easter Turkey, 3 Rhode Island Reds for me, 2 Easter Eggers, 3 Ameraucana's, 1 Buff Polish and 1 White Silky for her.
Our son has 4 Easter Eggers, 1 Rhode Island Red, 1 Polish and 1 Black Silky, male/female yet to be determined.

Our twin 2 year old grandsons and 5 year old granddaughter love them as well.

Both our Tractor coops are nearly completed and very different in design.
Discovered BYC on google search. Let the fun continue ... now if we can show a little common sense and restrain.
