The girls are very good about saying NO to the boys. And since they share the same boyfriend, the boyfriend makes sure no one else comes around to mate the girls.
She free ranges all day and supplemented with feed that varies between 16-22% protein. Believe me, I try to keep her from the higher protein. She will usually stay with me and eat her special feed (16% protein plus extra calcium).
She's been here about a month. She (& her sister) quickly adapted to this forever home. Other than the heat wave we just experienced, there's not been any changes since they arrived - well other than the boyfriend thing. And both girls LOVE the boyfriend element. The few days that funky egg girl's sister broke up with her boyfriend, neither laid for a day or two. Sister got back with her boyfriend, both girls started laying again.
