Keep that bill in a safe spot incase they come back at you later..

My mom an dad paid off their mastercard in full... cut the card...mastercard sent my parents a bill with a zero balance and confirmed in writing the account was now closed... the bozos send my parents to collection for a yearly service fee that was charged to the account because someone never got the memo the account was closed...

and please dont send them a cheque with $0.00 for a value... you dont need to be giving some person in the mail room your bank account number and your signature ...
