Funniest Things A City Slicker Has Ever Said To You?

I go to a private school. Yeah, there are a bunch of spoiled popular kids, but I just try to be nice to everyone. I'm friends with almost everyone, but I hang around my 3 or 4 best friends the most. So sorry your having troubles.

I've stopped trying to be nice to them a long time ago. Most of the people in my teeny-tiny little town are farmers, but there's a couple mansions at the outskirts of town that those spoiled brats live in. And thanks, I try to cope with it, but sometimes my "coping" ends with me in hot water, like the time I put an earthworm in one of the brat's pasta.

Well that ultimately sucks. If only you lived in my town. It's 20% jerks and 80% people who care and matter.

don't get me wrong, it's a really nice town, but some people just... (What's following is going to be a short rampage) make me wanna

and
smack.gif
. I also wanna
barnie.gif
and

and finally,

You and me both. I often hit them or do something scary, like the time i threw a pencil at a jerk and it ended up an inch into his notebook. It scared him half to death.

So sorry that you are having issues that bad at school. And to think... their parents are probably paying outrageous prices for organic and fresh things that you get from home. Were do eggs come from? Really? They need to go back to kindergarten... the children there can teach them about animals...
And as for the horses.... I would rather see a good horse, no matter what the breed, then a horse spoiled & over-priced that probably can't do half what yours can. I don't know what those kids are ridding and how they ride... but I have seen a lot of those wealthy people at workshops (I have only gone to observe, I can't afford to go with my horse) and TV shows... wondering why all their money can't get them what they want.
I think the worms were funny... but I guess I shouldn't encourage you;) Wow do I feel old;)

It's not that bad, honest. It's just that group of brats, 5 people- 3 girls, 2 boys,- that really get on my nerves. And their parents mostly pay outrageous prices for fat-free and low-calorie food (because they're to lazy and "delicate" to get their hands dirty with a garden, I reckon) so their children don't set a bad example for the whole family if they're (the kids) fat. My family couldn't care less about fat-free and low-calorie things, we eat organic and all-natural food. And yes, I'd enjoy seeing them get taught their animal anatomy all over again by a bunch of kindergarteners.
If I didn't have my horse, Dusty, having a Thoroughbred would be nice. Dusty is spoiled a little bit, I admit, but by me. Those kid's horses probably are spoiled way more than Dusty, but probably by a trainer the kid's parents hired from France.I bet the kids don't love their horses as much as I love Dusty, if at all. I'd bet that the trainer does most of the training, not the kids. Mostly I do Dusty's training except for when I go to lessons at a stable, but that way I connect way more with Dusty.
And I've got way more tricks up my sleeve. :)

I don't hit them, I just do funny tricks, like putting an earthworm in their pasta or stealing a fancy sneaker that they took of in riding class and tying the laces into terrific knots. (And I've never been a Girl Scout before. I guess it just comes naturally)

As a mother, I feel badly that you are harassed in school. I know how it is to be in your position, I was in a school where I was the only girl enrolled in the ag program for most of high school. However, people didn't really pick on me, because being a girl who actually worked on a farm like a man, I had biceps that kept them from saying much. The girls oftentimes, I felt, didn't include me much except when it came to picking teams for sports because I was pretty good at most of them.

Your true revenge is knowing you are living healthier and happier than they likely are. You are probably right that they are not the ones training and enjoying their horses. In fact, their horses probably don't enjoy them either. So, when you talk about spoiled horses, just because they live in a fancy stable, doesn't necessarily mean they are spoiled. Some people might consider YOU spoiled because you go to a private school, but the opposite is evidently true.

You should believe what comes around goes around an the mean kids will get theirs. Hold your head high and be proud that you are living that outdoor, healthy life and that you can take care of and feed yourself. There may come a day when that is a bigger deal than what kind of car your daddy bought you.

As a side note, my 11-year old daughter has a very snotty girl in her class who is always making comments to her that are mean. I think my daughter has figured out that she is the better person because she would never make someone feel the way the other girl tries to make her feel.

By the way, we started raising and eating rabbits this year, and my daughter's classmates just can't believe it and think we are horrible for eating cute little bunnies. I just shake my head, and so does she. The things people are just too ignorant or naive about is amazing.

Just tell them that you feel good about yourself for being a contributing member of the community, instead of sitting around, sponging off others. They should try it sometime; it might help their sense of self worth.

And that's just egging them on.. Try ignoring them and their comments.. because the more reaction they get out of you the more fun they have coming back at you.
Once they decide you're not "fun" to attack verbally anymore.. they will move on to another target

Otherwise it's a vicious cycle.. they make comments..you retaliate.. they make comments.. you retaliate... and on it goes.. which makes it look as if you enjoy the entire thing

personally i wouldn't play those games.. sooner or later it can blow up in your face

If your daughter has figured it out that makes her very wise.. you should be proud of her
