And a fun fact: those little grey things that roll up when you scare them (pill bugs, potato bugs, rolly-polys whatever you call them where you live) are crustaceans. Freaks people out when you tell them you just found a crustacean on the floor (especially when it takes 3 hours to get to the nearest beach!)

My son and I learned about that the other day. So basically, if you like shrimp... you should try some pill bugs with cocktail sauce?​

We are currently renting out part of our house to some very nice people, who don't know too much about chickens other than the basics. One day, the wife of the family tosses out some lettuce to the chickens, but notices them dust-bathing. She immediately runs over to my mom and tells her: "There's something wrong with your chickens!!"

That one always cracks me up.

We did explain to her that there's nothing wrong with them, and she now knows, but sometimes she still does mistake their dust-bathing antics for something else.
