Oh crap!! I forgot to list my husband's favorite little guy. TC aka Trash Can.

We had a power failure of 9+ hours and thought our hatch was done. I had set the eggs on the counter that I was sure were not going to hatch after 27 days, they were to be thrown out. Well, I got distracted and when I came back to throw them out, one egg was cheeping so I immediately put it back in the incubator and a few hours later he hatched. He is a beautiful bantam leghorn roo that we could never do with out. We named him Trash Can, TC for short because he almost became trash.

Opie is our Buff Orpington roo...same color as Opie's hair on Andy Griffith show. Fancy Pants roo of many colors. Houdini was our little escape artist and Rod Stewart was a Polish with that great tuft of feathers on top of his head.

I think of favorite movies and get ideas from them.

I have a blue cochin hen named Doodle, a black cochin hen named Jitterbug and a black cochin rooster named Shimmer, DH has a little mille fluer banty rooster named Sid Horrible, A blue jersey giant rooster named Colbalt and another named Indiana Jones (Indy), another splash named Mctavish. My granddaughter has a silkie roo named Willie Wonka Have many many more too many to mention but these are my favorites

Just name them as you get to know them, or silly things they do, or even if they look like something other than a chick... Here's a few of mine.. CC (crazy Chicken), Ducky, Ducky2, Chippy, Sicky (had issues, but is doing well now- the nickname stuck), twiddle toes (he has a couple crooked toes.. and Im mean), DB (he's not very nice, so, you can use your imagination was D and B stand for), Cornery (cause it was pecking non-stop in the corner of the box when it first came home), Cadbury (he looks like a chocolate dipped peep!), and Francisco. Just use your imagination! Its fun!

I just named one of my chicks Beepbeep? She reminds me of a road runner. When she runs she puts her head down and takes off! It's so funny! LOL That's why I named her Beepbeep, she's sayin: get out of my way!!!

I haven't named any of my chickens yet. I have 6 roos, only one gets to stay... and 3 other hens are going to my DSILs house.... once I'm down to the ones I'm keeping, I'll start naming them.

But the 2 geese I have ... one came named Lucy so I named the other Ethel, of course any males I can find for them will be called Ricky and Fred.

I have a hen named Charlie, and 2 cochin banty's named Muffinz and Porkchop.

My turkens are
Turkalicious (and i sing the stupid Fergie song to her but say Turkalicious instead of fergalicious.)
Snow white
Cinderella
Aurora
Belle

and I have a SLW named Briar Rose. Now in case you cant see the trend, my daughter is obsessed with Princeses and helped do some naming LOL.

I also have a roo named Harold which is a big name for a tiny bird.
