Funny kitten noises! Please advice needed!!!!

My hen is 1 years old and is making funny noises almost like a kitten (constant noise) with a funny high pitched noise every once in a while. The other hens began to attack her which drew my attention to the unrest. I then noticed her making this consistent funny sound. We separated her from the rest but don't know what to do now. We live in upstate Ny lots of rain lately and but they are in a well drained area, clean dry coop, fresh water and food daily. Eating lots of earthworms lately. Do you think it could be gape worm? Really don't know what to do. Please help if possible. Thank you Martha

Update, Jezabell seems to be ok now. Thinking maybe there was an obstruction or something. When my husband let her out of the crate she ran in the coop and started eating oyster shell and filling her gizzard. I don't know. Read some of these other posts and gave her some bread with olive oil thinking maybe that would help an obstruction. Going to check on her in a little bit and hope to see her lined up on the roost. The thought of a gapeworm freaks me out (i have a problem with the worm thing). Any other thoughts would be helpful. Thanks!

Hmmmmmm, never heard of that one. I am so glad she is improving.
