Funny looking feet

Thanks for the suggestions.
I have a small flock though, and there are no signs of mites or frostbite.:(
Thanks everyone. They Roost on 2 x 4s. There's plenty of thick bedding in their coop.
She still has all of her toes.
I'll keep an eye out for any changes, or signs of infection.

Maybe if you post some different photos of her feet?
Not to argue, but the black circles, she has toenails and part of her toes missing. Red circles, the toes are dying, so those will most likely fall off. The only time I have seen people post something like this is due to frostbite or possibly injury. Since most all the toes are affected, then frostbite would be the most practical conclusion.

Chickens don't always get frostbitten feet from roosting in cold temperatures, it can be from getting the feet wet, walking in snow, etc.

She will likely be fine, but watch for infection or if she seems to be in pain and stops eating/drinking.

Thank you. I do agree.
I am just so surprised! None of the others are affected at all! I have 13.

I wonder if she may have jumped or walked into an open water dish?

We had some really cold weather here in NC. One day it was around 11F and one of my girls came out of the coop to greet me, when she hopped down she landed square in the water dish! I immediately grabbed her up and dried her feet and feathers very well. Something like that without being seen could have caused frozen or frostbitten toes - I'm sure if I had not dried them she would have most likely had damage.
Just a thought.
