I have a strange question, can chickens eat the chip brand Funyuns as treats?

Usually they shouldent eat chips because they are high in fat and salt. Hope that helps! I would say no. If some ate some then it’s probably okay though.

They're incredibly high in sodium, so I wouldn't deliberately feed any to them.

They are, however, VERY useful as fire starters. The fat content, plus the puffed structure, allows one to be lit easily, even in poor weather, and it will then burn like a candle under your kindling for a bit.

Cheetos Cheese puffs and Fritos are also effective for this, though lacking in the puffed structure. That makes Fritos better for damp ground. Both also contain more fat than a Funyun.

Sounds like a much lighter addition to the backpack than what we in Girl Scouts used to call ”(Boy) Scout juice” - gasoline or lighter fluid.

Hilarious. We called Kerosene "Girl Scout Water".

The Fritos were a backpacking survival thing - but we did repack them.
