Funny scene today!

I was driving home during rush hour today and traffic was really jammed up. Anyways, about 12 geese (3 adults and a long line of little fuzzy babies) decided they HAD to cross 4 busy lanes of traffic to get to the pond on the other side of the road, so they just marched confidently out into the road in a long, slow line and all the cars stopped for them and held up traffic for 3 or 4 minutes. It was an amazing sight!!

I've never seen anything like it.

Unfortunately people around here are more likely to consider themselves more important than anything making them late for whatever and squash em flat.

I'm sure these car-drivers had that impulse to run them over, but they woulda had 3 other lanes of stopped traffic watching them. The thing that I found astonishing was that the geese didn't hesitate for a second. They weren't sitting on the shoulder, considering the traffic problem at all. No, they just marched single file across the park, across the shoulder and out into the traffic without even a glance over their shoulder. Kamikaze geese.
