Maybe your wife can't stand the thought of someone else taking care of the baby when he gets here. I've yet to have a babysitter... and they are 8 and 13!

I figure on spending time with them before those ugly teen years come along.

Work there for now but keep looking. Congratulation on the baby. Right now my daughter and her 2 daughters are living with us I love seeing my grand babies everyday it does make for a closer family.

Congrats on getting called back. I think it says great things that as soon as they could afford to rehire someone, you're the one they called. I think you are going into it with a great attitude, happy and taking it for what it is. Hopefully their income stays steady and you'll be happily employed there for a long time to come (or until you find something else you'd rather do/work for).
