Funny story about my ducks!

Well here I am calling my duck Huey. When little did I know.. IT WAS A GIRL! So a few days ago I wake up go to feed my ducks you know.. all is the same. Then when I let Huey out of his (or should I say HER) cage and what do I see.. AN EGG!? I was totally stunned and quickly candled it though there isn't much to see on the first day. It looks a bit odd, but I am going to at least TRY to hatch it. She isn't sitting on it or anything so might as well give it a try. I am pretty sure it isn't fertile because our boy duck sadly can't walk, so I wouldn't see how he could mate with her. She has been lying down a lot lately a bit more lazy.. maybe some more eggs on the way!
