Furry Feet

Can I trim my Cochin's feet feathers, she trips over them, poor thing......

I have never done it myself, but I am sure you can. It wouldnt be much different than trimming a birds wings. Maybe someone will know more than me But I say go for it!!

I've considered it on my roo and one of my hens with heavy foot feathering, but decided against it. I was too afraid of hitting a blood feather.
I've found that they do eventually learn to walk and run without tripping over them....eventually.
