Fussy eaters at 5 weeks?

My 5 week old chickens wont eat eggs, letttuce, carrots, blueberries or strawberries? Have i got fussy chickens? The only thing they like outside the starter feed is brocolli and oats.

Generally chicks don't like trying new food unless they are being raised by a broody hen. Most things need also to be offered multiple times before they start to eat them more. Generally 3 days is how long it takes before my chicks really start to want their scrambled eggs.

Don't try feeding too much stuff too soon. Chicks need to eat a good fresh starter ration for the majority of their diet to avoid deficiencies.

@Scary Do you have chick grit available for them? Chicks or chickens won't eat everything offered to them.

Hi, yes ive always had grit available for them and they also get to roam around in the dirt and grass every day too.
