I started my coop about three weeks ago (seems longer than that) after thinking a long time about keeping chickens. You can see lots of pictures of the design and building process and read about the progress here:

Another 7-8 weeks to go before the chicks arrive.

The coop itself is almost done (other than outdoor "finish work" and painting). Latest job completed: the pop-door.
