Future roosters or hens?

    Here they are at almost 4 months. I call them the twins. They are exactly the same. Yes, I need to mow my yard. Did it yesterday before the rain last night. twins.jpg

    So my other hen decided to abandon her 3 chicks at 1 month. Is that too soon? She's already sleeping in the main coop with her roo. The 3 chicks sleep in the smaller coop where she had them. I can clearly see 1 cockerel and 2 pullets?

    As I understand it, that's about right... with how long she raised them. And yes, I see one cockerel and two pullets at this point.

    Well the twins no longer stay together. Their hormones are kicking into high gear and you know how that goes. Each one is trying to "force-ably" convince older hens to join them. I will have to re-home them soon. :(
