Here they are at almost 4 months. I call them the twins. They are exactly the same. Yes, I need to mow my yard. Did it yesterday before the rain last night.

So my other hen decided to abandon her 3 chicks at 1 month. Is that too soon? She's already sleeping in the main coop with her roo. The 3 chicks sleep in the smaller coop where she had them. I can clearly see 1 cockerel and 2 pullets?

As I understand it, that's about right... with how long she raised them. And yes, I see one cockerel and two pullets at this point.

It just seemed like it was such a short amount of time.

Well the twins no longer stay together. Their hormones are kicking into high gear and you know how that goes. Each one is trying to "force-ably" convince older hens to join them. I will have to re-home them soon.
