Fuzzy butts are here!

This one little guy here is from that really good set of Bev Davis BCM's I got. Out of 14 eggs, half are pipped and this one hatched. Out of the other batch of 12 fertile eggs, 4 pipped, 2 hatched so far.

Total, 15 eggs of 32 have pipped, 3 have hatched. They started pipping yesterday afternoon. I had 2 at first, then 5 by bedtime, woke up in the middle of the night to 5 more, and 5 more have pipped since then for a total of 15.

they are so cute but i have a question since im a first time hatcher when the crack out of the shell did you leave them in the incubator to dry at all or just put them in the brooder to dry?

Okay, I've got 6 out of the shell and 3 about halfway out. 8 more have pipped but not zipped, and as I was peering in a minute ago I saw one of the eggs that hasn't pipped yet rock. So that's 18 out of 32 so far. I'll get some more pics of them all fluffed out, soon. The seven month old baby is taking up a lot of my time today. >.<
