Fuzzy Butts have arrived!!!!

Yay i been waiting all week for my order from ideal, 2 DOA which was sooo sad 1 blue laced red wyandotte bantam and one silver laced cochin bantam

I think the packing peanuts smooshed them. Survivors are: 1 silver laced cochin, 3 blue laced red wyandottes, 2 red frizzles, 2 blue belgian quail d'anvers, 4 ameraucana bantams, 1 misc cochin, 9 huge packing peanuts. Hard to get a pic of all, most are really sleepy yet so i will try to post some more pics tonight.

Since i was in such a hurry to get them warmed up i hadn't put down newspaper when i took the pics, I have just put that in there so they dont fill up on pine shavings, Boy those barred rocks they sent for warmth didn't waste any time getting to the feed

My serama hen was in with them, I thought she was gonna be good with them but after about 15 minutes she got overwhelmed and i took her out and put her back in with my serama roos. The lone cochin chick is sooo happy to have buddies now

More pics of the lil fuzzies... I took them last night, babies are still really sleepy but look good and all are eating and drinking ALOT.

Congratulations. Beautiful babies!!!

I get my chicks from Ideal. I have never lost any in shipment but 1 died @3 days old. It wouldn't eat or drink no matter how hard I tried. I had it on a heating pad on my lap when it died.
