Got the job, unless for some reason something don't check out with my references/ job experience. I got a TB test done and going Thurs for pee test and fingerprints, so i am fairly sure i'm in!

I'm wore because it took a bit this morning, and i had to ride out and feed and water everyone. Poor chicks ran dry because i took so long I installed a hamster water bottle in addition to the bowl, so that don't happen again! It was fun teaching them to use the hamster bottle. After they caught on they liked it better!
The wind was killer though. Had to do a lot of walking, it was actually faster!

As long as my experience checks out in 90 days i will get a heck of a raise! Yay. I hope they remember me ...........My old boss retired years ago! I am not going to talk $$$ numbers, but i will say that that resume making book i was yammering about is worth reading. My resume made her happy, her offer made me happy

Then she's like "it's ok if you want to go home and think about it.........." I was like "what's to think about? I want the job!" lol . Basically i'm going to be working for what i would be making had i not switched to factory. Didn't want her to change her mind! lol I'm only working part time to start, so no big boost in the family income but it is a chain nursing home, so if i need to move i can transfer, and It's a very stable line of work.
Hospitals start out with only a few hours a week anyway, so in the event i persue that it will be possible.

YAY! And yes it is a big boost. From NO JOB to PAYCHECK is a very big boost. It is also a step in the direction you are aiming for. Like future home owner where you can walk out your very own back door and have your birds there and not have to ride your bike up hill for an hour to get to them.

I was thinking about hamster bottles, and if they were really any different that nipple waterers...

Does any one know anything about money?

I have a pair of 1957 dollar bills, A and B series in VF condition. I also found a 1935 bill in F conditon. I am thinking of getting them valued. Putting them in safety deposit box for the boys, one for each, minus the 1935 one, so they can possibly trade them/sell them later on down the road...

Like the N.CS, if it weren't on a Saturday, it might be something I could consider doing/going to. BUT with me having to work Saturday night as well as Sunday afternoon, just can't do it. It was a heck of a drive for me going to CS, then having to go home try and sleep and go to work that night too. So worth it, but very tiring.
